2005 E350 6.0

I bought this van new in 2006. At the present here is the problem. It eats alternators. On the fourth one. Installed the last one last week under last alternator warranty.

I can charge the van today, start it, and drive for a number of miles. I can shut it off tonight and it will be dead in the morning. The batteries are just under one year old and were installed with 3rd alternator. They inspected and cleaned the stupid battery hookup under the van. That should not be a problem.

I started it this morning and by noon it was dead.

I don't believe it is a drain.

My shop, owned by two young ex-Ford dealership employees, gave up with deep apologies. Well equipped, knowledgeable, and trust worthy guys. They have done some serious repair on the van. 6.0 you know.

Anyone have the problem or know of a solution.

Life is too short to drink cheap booze and argue with stupid people
