rocker arm retainer or more?
I have an 04 f350 with the 6.0 that has a missfire on cyl 8. I replaced the injector, still has problem. there is a popping coming from the intake. I removed left valve cover and hp oil rail to find broken rocker arm retainer clip on intake rocker. The rocker seems to be moving the same distance as the rest, but has a hesitation or double jump when cranking. you can also hear a differance in the motor when cranking, like there is no compression in one cyl. Could the broken retainer clip be the problem, or should I keep looking for a bigger issue?
