Thumbs up 6.0 - No Start/FICM Repaired - START!

This forum has been great providing solutions to my no start issue on my F350. Bought myself a ScanGaugue II (again, due to some great reviews on this forum), a few weeks back after I encountered the "no start" issue. Plugged in my ScanGauge in while cranking and my FICM Voltage dipped to 32...pulled the FICM (thanks to a couple great "how to's" on YouTube) and shipped it off to Shannon at FICMFIXER.COM. $149 (lifetime warranty included) plus around $12 Priority Shipping to Shannon who repaired it and shippped (free) the next day. Received it today and bolted 'er in (with the help of my wife ) and voila...started right up after pushing the pedal to the floor. A couple of puffs of black smoke, then clear.

While waiting for my FICM to return, I changed both fuel filters (pretty dirty, especially the bottom one), new air filter (stock...and expensive), changed my oil (Rotella T) with Motorcraft Filter and installed two new batteries.

ScanGauge II reported 48.5 Volts Key On, and it never dipped while cranking.

I can't tell you how great it feels to have my truck back "in the game".

Thanks to Shannon for a quality and quick repair to my FICM!
