Weak Alternator??

I picture is worth a thousand words. Is this something to worry about? Is this indicating battery or alternator issues. Note RPM's, I would think this would be higher.

Looks low to me. Assuming your glow plugs had shut off, if this is the normal voltage all the time you are at risk of Killing your FICM.

I'd get the batts individually tested and the alt tested

I may also throw a meter on the Alt lead at the back of the Alt

to see if it's higher

Great! I just put a new FICM in. Looks like a new alternator and batteries are in my near future. Only two years out of this battery set.... Even if the batts were bad, wouldnt the voltage be higher if the alternator was strong?

Zman just answered my question, thanks! I will do that. But I've always "Read" that the batts should be replaced in pairs.....

they should be replaced in pairs ( so they have the same voltage and one doesn't drain into the other )
most places won't warranty both if 1 is still good so I buy the second and use the old good one in something else

your batteries may be fine but your charge looks low

the bummer is it may still test good
