split o-ring on #7 injector
Truck died out of the blue on the freeway. Towed it to dealer. It pulled code P02290. They said the #7 injector o-ring was split. They replaced and truck runs great. Should i be concerned about another faulty o-ring? Should the dealer replace all the injectors for me? Just thought i would get some advice from other 6.0 owners.
05-6.0 with 34000 miles. until now, no problems. thanks for any input. |

If it was one of the external o rings...ive only seen one and only heard of three others...
if it was the D ring inside of the injector that the oil rail seals to.......i saw a rash of them for a while.....probably 12 or so.....but havnt seen any for a long time.... I wouldnt worry bout it... |
