04 Powerstroke Black/Blue Smoke
This is the second time I have had to do head gaskets on this truck. When it fires up there is a ton of black smoke and then turns to whitish gray and smells of diesel fuel. There is a slight popping sound coming from the intake like a rocker is off or a stuck valve.Been there and done that from the first go around. At an idle this thing has a miss/lope in it.
I have an EGR delete, ARP Head-studs, SCT, and coolant filter on it. There are new crush washers and O-rings on the injectors. Also has a new inner oil cooler I have checked the FICM voltage and it is 48.5 then goes to 49.0 volts. It has a new ICP sensor.
It is not throwing any codes at all. I have even unplugged the vgt on the turbo and it will fire right up and still throw no codes.
Injector, turbo, sensor, stuck valve, or a broken rocker or bent push rod???? Need help
