EGR/OIL Cooler Coolant Routing

Im just curious. What if i Disconnect the EGR Cooler from the rubber line connecting it to the Oil Cooler. Connect to the oil cooler and route the coolant into a T into a Heater core hose? Would that work or will coolent run back up through the Intake and out the EGR cooler?

bad idea........

the origional cooling system flow needs to be maintained...the cooling system charactarisics of the system are bad enough...we dont need to make them worse...

It won't work hoss. You have to maintain the coolant flow that comes up from the block thru the intake. If you just cap it off you are deadheading coolant from another spot that needs flow and you will cause a new problem.
