Question Overdrive Miss and Death Shake!

2004 F350 6.0l Automatic

It has done this for sometime now, and only between 45 - 75 MPH in the 1800 RPM range when in overdrive and I ease into maybe 5-25% throttle.

Idles fine but has an occasional miss/detonation to it.

When I run WOT the truck acts like it hits a fuel cut in the high RPM range almost if it isn't getting enough fuel or oil to the injectors.

I have not replaced the FPR Spring HPOP ICP Sensor or IPR Valve. It has remanned injectors but throws Cylinder #5 and #8 codes if I remember from the last time I checked.

I replaced the EGR cooler with the delete kit last summer along with the old FICM with a 58v Swamps Hercules tuned by Innovative. I use a DiaBLOsport Programmer on the 100HP tune as my DD. The transmission has been rebuilt twice in the past 30,000 miles under warranty by AAMCO so I know the overdrive is not going out.

Any ideas where to start? Before I throw money at this thing again for the second summer in a row....

Please help! Many Thanks.
Andrew

Put it back to stock and see if it still does it.

Thats part of your problem. AAMCO can't build a tranny for a diesel.

It still does it on stock tune almost the exact same as far as speed and level of severity goes, and believe me I know that now I will be going with an ATS in the fall as long as I'm not putting a set of injectors in.

Thanks

Gotta start by getting a gauge on there and monitor fuel pressure.
