New vs Reman Power Steering Pump

So my power steering pump is dying on my 06 F250. The dealership wants a crazy amount for a new motorcraft(STP-168RM). There seem to be a lot of remans on the internet for A LOT less. Any opinions on if it is worth it or if there are any upgrades?

Well if $130 is a crazy amount then perhaps the aftermarket is your best best.

Considering the difficulty a do-it-yourselfer may have performing the repair I wouldn't trust anything but motorcraft.

Dealership quoted 300 for a new. A reman online is 90. What dealership is selling new motor crafts for 130?

That's the suggested list price on the part number you posted.
