looking for a lpop

hey guys I am having problems with my powerstroke I have 3 psi of oil pressure which is causing a no start I believe the ford dealer has the truck and is trying to tell me the motor is trashed so I am going to go get it and put a lpop in it but I cant find one on the internet thanks for any help I was also wondering how hard they are to change I have alrady done the hpop oil cooler egr delete stand pipe and dummy plugs thanks for any info

No the dealer still has it till morning the irp is new along with the hpop oil cooler egr delete stan pipes and dummie plugs is there a way to check the icp sensor

Unplug the ICP sensor and it will trick the computer into setting the default 500psi (I think) and if the truck starts up then that's your problem. I had the same symptoms when my ICP went bad. Sometimes it can be a chore to trace the cause of the problem so I always try to start with the free and cheap DIY tests. I'm no expert so hopefully one of the guys with more experience will chime in. Good luck and keep us posted.

ok thanks for the info I will try that and see what happens before I just start ripping the engine out and stuffing my 12 valve cummins in it

well I got the truck from the dealer and tried to unhook the icp and still nothing so I pushed the little tab in the filter housing and I am getting oil in there but very little so I got me the lpop from the dealer.my question is does anyone know how hard these are to change and am I going to need any special tools to do this job

sure anything you want to know about ,let me know!!!I had to do my twice because the first one the sent me was defected, so look at yours very closely, it will save you a bunch of time and work......
