03 6.0 falling on its face

I have an 03 and it starts fine but the problem is when I hit the pedal it has no power until about 2500 rpm after that it runs just fine. Any ideas on what the problem could be guys?

Turbo vanes sticking, map sensor hose clogged/cracked/split. Do you have a monitor?

EBP sensor may be plugged up keep a eye on your boost, vanes may also be froze. Avoid overboosting the engine for sure.

Iirc, the 03 later ecm strategy, eliminates the ebp sensor. So not sure that would be an issue.

Your turbo is a variable geometry turbo. Vgt, there are moveable vanes that can become stuck/corroded over time. There is no wastegate. Check what was mentioned, and expect to pull the turbo and clean it up. There are writeups and videos on youtube.
