Fender removal

Is it feasible to remove a fender for head removal as opposed to raising the complete cab. I have to remove the drivers side head for inspection as I have a broken injector tip and really would like to know where it went. I won't have any problem with that back bolt on this unit. Norm

Im gonna say no behind the outer fender is an inner fender(obviously) and i believe that is permanently attached to the cab and would need to be cut off. Thats my .02 cents though someone may prove me wrong though
