+5 added to starts, plus toasty towing!

Hi,

truck is an 06 CC 4x4, with 3.73.

Stock except for an atlas FIC programmer. I'm running the 40HP flash.

About 2 months ago, the truch elected to add about 5 seconds of crank time to starts... Pretty much hot or cold, unless it is started right back up after being turned off.

No high pressure oil- once i get some pressure on the rail, it fires right up.

Has no problem meeting desired pressure (commanded versus actual)

???

ALSO- I have a 33' bumper pull travel trailer.. about 7500# I'd imagine loaded out..

Truck runs about 1000F at 60mph, but won't go into 5th,or lock up, whichever... when I run it at 65, it will go into 5th, and lock up. egt's go to about 1100, unless there's a slight grade, then they go to 1200-1300, which I think is unacceptable....

7500 isn't much weight, it's the wind block that makes it annoying to tow..

What speed should I be pulling this thing for best performance/mileage? What do I need to do to cool things off? EGR delete I imagine, anything else?

Thanks,

Greg
