Leaking coolant...

Ive been searching all the coolant leak search results, but i cant seem to find anything similar to what im seeing on mine, so hopefully its A - nothing big and B - someone might have a solution..

noticed a small puddle under the front passenger side this morning, just enough to stain the pavement but spread to about 7 inches in diameter (after truck sat for roughly 12 hours in outdoor temps of 10-30 degrees). looked underneath and the main hose out of the bottom of the radiator seems to be trickling, so my first thought was ok, simple replace the spring clamp, maybe its worn out...but while driving today i noticed that my egt's were 2-300 degrees warmer than normal with no load on the normal roads i always drive. could this leak be affiliated with a slowly failing egr cooler? or just mere coincidence that today she was running warmer? its only the first day ive noticed the leak, so i cant really relate the leak to egt's quite yet.

as simple as i thought, or has all the egr failure reading gotten to my head

truck is an 03 6.0 with 61K. thanks for any suggestions

check the spring clamps....we had problems with them actually cracking and failing and causing a leak....... If it was an EGR cooler it souldnt have left a puddle in the front....

thats what i was gathering from the readings here on the org .. is there supposed to be a secondary clamp behind the spring clamp, or had the previous owner possibly tried to tighten this up once? just trying to see what i am dealing with here, if we have a repeat problem or not
