cat no cat

i have a 2003 6.0l with 4 inch turbo back looking for information on taking cat out the good and bad

No cat will help lower your EGT's especially when towing. Also it will help with carbon build up in the exhaust. But one thing if you idle alot, you will loose a bit of heat in the exhaust. Also some states will get you if you have emission inspections.

I guess I would evaluate what I use the truck for. I have not cat on mine and it runs great, but I run tuned and tow alot with my truck.

Hell yeah lose the kitty, sounds like a C17 taxing on the run way..... Just hold on to it just in case for warranty issues
