wine in motor

i have a 2003 f350 6.0l
at ideal there is no noise under light aceration there is a high pitch whine if you acerat hard or over 8lb of boost noise goes away. When at crusing noise returns. have had to dealer they replaced mast air flow, egr, and turbo noise is still there and the same. I have put on 4" exhast turbo back still the same. this noise started about 4 months ago and acures when motor is hot or cold. also when idealing you can hear a deep exhast then will go away and goes back and forth

thanks for any help

its probably gonna be a leaking Y pipe or more likely it will be a leaking metal EGR cooler gasket...

k...to do this test you will need to figure out how to make the truck do it not moving..

Rev the truck...in gear with the park brake set and your foot on the brake...till the noise starts.....get a feel for how it happens...

Then disconnect the VGT solenoid... (the connector on the turbo)...if it doesnt happen anymore its the Y pipe or the gaskets for the egr cooler...
