bit of metal on drain bolt

Changed oil today. used motorcraft filters and oil. as always. when i pulled the plug i looked an say a little bit of metal shaving. no chunks or powder. distinct shavings. truck runs well. it has 205300 miles. oil was changed 200300. no metal in oil filter. is this normal wear. i dont think its an issue. but im just a little worried. I changed the oil cooler. and the screen at the bottom was missing 1 or 2 parts of it. could it be from that.

I don't like to be captain negativity, but these type of post never turn out well. First thing that comes to mind is a failed lifter. I hope thats not your problem.

I almost suggested that, just curious though, what more could that tell him, considering he has metal shavings on the drain plug?
