Cylinder #1 contribution dtc
Driving home yesterday truck starts to surge and buck, rough idle. Pull code P0263 injector #1 cylinder mis-fire, contribution, etc. Re-checked FICM connections as I installed a new BPD ficm running on 58v setting. All good. Recent oil change 400 miles ago, Rotella t6 5-40 & Motorcraft filter, added Archoil 9100 due to long cranks. Also changed both fuel filters with Motorcraft. Wake up this am cranks right up, no surging, etc. Take it in to Diesel Tech, hook up to Ford scanner, no issues. Volts, pressure are normal. They looked it over for an hour, test drove, cannot duplicate. Driving to Arizona next week and dont feel to comfortable about it. Even the long cranks, cold and hot are gone. Thoughts?
