injector out

I have an injector out. anyone ever run an injector from o'reillys? Or where should i get one from? thanks for any help

Good luck with that. I would only run OEM injectors from either alliant power or ford remans if your staying stock.

My dad has put 2 from orielly in his and they have been fine. Just put another in today, hopefully it's good, didn't get it all back together today. Well find out tomorrow.

Yup the first lasted a month the second lasted two days this last one has made it 4 months. Thank God for their 1 year warranty

BWD is the subsidiary of SMP corp. The 67528 injectors have a 3 yr warranty, if installed by a certified installer. Similar to Alliant, they remanufacture as required. One might argue Alliant uses more new parts, but is it myth or fact?. Most of the new parts are usually nozzles and spool valve parts. One difference, I believe, is Alliant uses Siemens nozzles. Knowing why an injector fails helps everyone figure out what is really happening. A bad installation or an underlying problem will certainly not be fixed with any brand of rebuit or reman injector.

FWIW, I bought a mitt-full of BWD injectors to modify. I checked all the moving parts. All of the internals are very good and equal to the Alliant ones sitting next to them. Too be honest, they were identical, except for the nozzle brand.

I called ford today. They said it was $280 for an injector. O'Reillys wants $225. For $55 more I think I will go to ford.

Went to ford today to get an injector. The parts guy must of had a good night last night. I got the injector and stand pipe for$225 no core. Works for me.
