out of curiosity...
i bought my 2004 f250 6.0 about a month ago, the ficm went out so i had it replaced and it is missing 2 bolts. i did an egr deleat along with my oil and fuel filters. after that it would take me 3-4 times to cycle the key to get it to fire. i soon found that my fuel filter o-ring snapped on my lower housing. replaced and starts up just fine. anyways, at high rpms i would loose throttle and once stalled out. i have not been able to test my theory but would that fuel leak make me loose power/throttle/stall at high rpms since the fuel would be going threw the filter a bit quicker?
thanks. |

Re: out of curiosity...
It is possible. With a leak at the o-ring it will suck air and cause a loss of power.
