put her in the shop today

I was driving and then it died, at the intersection After a minute or two it started up and tried to get out of the way, but wouldn't go, just idled over to the shoulder. I got off the road and opened the hood had coolent all over everything, it is now making a slight ticking or knocking sound, and smokes white now. The turbo is also acting like it won't build hardly any boost keeps making the whoosh sound. I am thinking may have floated a valve or two? What do you guys think?

sounds like you lifted a head. (head bolt stretched) if thats the diagnosis I would invest in some good head studs like ARP.
