ICP pressure??

I am minutes away from giving up on this truck......after spending thousands on replacing and updating the whole cooling system,and spending more money on FICM,batteries,and numerous other updates of standpipe dummyplug yada yada yada,now 2 days after new ficm is in ive had 2 mornings where I have to crank 3-4 times for it to start.....is this the HPOP now????????I have a CTS what should ICP be at to start,500psi I was told by the ford guy,anyone have some insight before I pull the plug on the big red moneypit???

You need 500 psi to start. 1500 is when the icp pigtail is disconnected from the icp sensor and the PCM gives it a default value to start the engine.

Perfect,ill check my CTS in the morning and see what its kicking out for psi.......if it is under 500 I guess im looking at replacing the HPOP?

Not necessarily, it could be a bad IPR valve, STC fitting, leaking hpo rails, leaking standpipes, dummy plugs or a bad pump.

Alright ill check in the morning and go from there.....oh ya,2 years ago I had same problem,ford replaced standpipe and dummyplug...under warranty,but not the pump,that scares me!!lol
