Can AE close the IPR

Just like it says or do I have to hook a power source to it. I'm trying to figure out my low ICP and no start thanks

Yes it can. No external power source needed.

Buddy of mine says it won't, bc USB only uses 5v. Hope he's wrong

It will. The program is telling the ecu computer to close it via the obd port.

Found the actuation page. Question now is 0% close and 100% open or vise versa.
