tbc code?
2004 6.0 75k only owned for a month. Was running well for a 6.0 till middle of a snow storm driver said sounded like a "pop" and had no power, boost wouldn't go past about 5 lbs. Dealer said a line came off and all is good. Well it wasn't... still didn't have any power, 20 miles later it shut off. Towed back to dealership, needed 2 injectors and oil pump. Ran it hard on the way home still didn't feel right at top end. Two days later ((50 miles)) driving 30mph lost all power and info center started flashing TBC code. Towed it back yesterday and dealer won't get to it till Thursday. Any ideas?
The boss and I think that one of the part-time employees may have dumped used engine oil in the fuel tank instead of the used oil tank after seeing a bit of oil on the fill opening. It would have only been about 4 gallons in about 400 gallons of fuel. The 7.3s have been running well though. Any help would be appreciated!! |

TBC code is the Trailer Brake Code, if you search in on google you will find alot of people had trouble with it too. Mine flashed at me everysingle time i go to mcdonalds and turn my truck off then turn it right back on at the drive through.

The TBC code flashes everytime i turn my truck on...very annoying. The dealership replace the controller module but it still flashes. They told me i have to leave it a week so an engineer can look at it but ive been to busy to leave it.
