egr delete/new oil cooler no boost
03 f250 6.0 120,000 miles. Just did egr delete, new oil cooler, replaced orange hose going from egr to oil cooler, cleaned turbo. Got everything together last night and took her out for a test drive today. Everything was working good than I hit the pedal pretty good, and all the sudden no boost. I cant even hear the turbo at all anymore. boots all look good, Clamps to y pipe and down pipe look good. Any ideas? truck runs just no boost power. Buddy took egr valve and cleaned it before I hit the pedal, and it seems he didnt tighten it down properly... Maybe because the dip SH*T forgot to tell my he ruined the threads. thats the only leak I can find, He also broke a air flow looking sensor that is on the passanger side of the intake manifold. the nipple broke in the hose, so he bought a new sensor, and told me that he didnt bother taking the nipple out of the hose!!! His theory it wasnt plugged so it wouldnt affect anything. last time I let a buddy help me.
So any ideas before I rip that friggen turbo out again. Will try and find a scanner tomorrow and get some codes. |

Did he hook the hose back up to the MAP sensor and the nipple on the intake?

replaced map sensor passanger side, replaced hose, replaced air temp sensor part number 3c3z-12a697-aa, no aftermarket air filter. sounds like there is air being sucked in by turbo or intake manifold? cac boots are all fine no exhaust leaks I can see. Cant see the Y pipe though. took the air filter off all the way to the turbo, turned truck on and the fins are spinning. So went for a test drive. I can hear the turbo, but still feels like it has no power. Shifts at high rpms. Takes off when truck is running above 2000 rpm.
