Pouring white smoke again......
Heading home last night and my temp shot up and started pouring white smoke. I've deleted the egr cooler a while back but I have read in a few posts that the oil cooler and egr cooler failing will cause the white smoke to start pouring out. The white smoke definetly smells like coolant and ever since the truck was stolen I notice here and there that it'll puke just a tad.
So my question is head gaskets again or maybe the oil cooler? Thanks, Preston |

You are going to need to get a pressure gauge on the cooling system and watch how it responds to WOT inputs.

It's the head gaskets again. 2 seconds of running and the degas bottle has a lot of pressure lol.

I love it when OPs answer their own questions.
I guess they drove it like they stole it, a bit to hard. Make the insurance claim. Did they pay you out already, or was it a buy-back? |

Sometimes I have to think out loud lol. Neither, I hardly get to drive it, it was almost paid off and I almost never go downtown so I dropped the full coverage........ That's right, I took a big bite of poo sandwich......
