Random surging
My 2004 6.0 will be running down the highway at a even cruising speed and every once in a while it will surge and rpm's will jump up. any clue what could cause this?

Do you have gauges? like scangauge or edge??

May be ebp plugged or even icp it can even be bad fuel but you need to get some gauges on it to see what the engine is trying to do.

I have a CTS and the rpms just jump up randomly.
