6.0L Rough Idle / NO Power on cold start

I have a 2004 F-450 6.0L w/ 115K miles in my shop. It is a tire service truck. On cold mornings it idles rough and lacks all power until it warms up. There is no exhaust smoke and but it sounds like an injector/fuel problem.
I checked the dieselmann's Page and they mentioned a revision for the Fuel Injection Control Module. Is this the right option for me?

you need to take it to ford and tell them you wont to have the module reprogrammed to the latest calibration, that will fix it

I took it to ford today and they said there was alot more wrong than just a computer problem. They said preliminary was egr sensor and they would go from there. Does the programmer void my warranty? I'll keep you posted.

It happened to me and the glow plug main line at the battery was loose and the glow plugs did not cycle long enough to allow it to start properly, and this same wire connection is for both alternator charge to the battery so the batterie were never fully charged.

The Update fixed the cold weather start issue. Since then i've had 2 other trucks with similar issues updated and it fixed both. At the low cost it seems to me like a wise first step for anyone with similar issues. Thanks for the help!
