FICM Suggestions
well after seeing 34.5 volts this morning its time to replace it. it always climbs to 48.5 but i dont feel like waiting on it to get so bad my truck wont start. i am wanting a performance tune one way or another. whats the bonus of 48V over 58V

I got mine fixed by FICMREPAIR.com with the atlas 80 tune. The truck loves it but Im probably gonna go with the atlas 40 soon. EGT's with the 80 a bit to high.
I do have a extra ficm sitting at the house and as $ allow's me to Im gonna go with the BPD power side probably the 6 phase and send the whole mess to ed to get the atlas 40. |

that sounds like a sweet plan. so ficmrepair can add a tune there? does it have to get a reflash or does it come back ready to plug in?

Its a plug n play type of thing. I was very pleased with it. If I wasnt gonna tow with the truck I would just leave the Atlas 80.

I'm not sure about the other options as far as a repaired one with or with out tunes, but i do know that after having replaced my original one with a Swamps unit and then going with a BPD FICM, I would say BPD hands down. My Swamps unit was starting to go out on me after a year or so. I swapped it out with a BPD 48v and my truck has never been happier. I plan on doing a FICM tune for the unit sometime in the future, but for now I am extremely happy with what I have.

it seems that ficm repair is probably cheapest route but they dont seem to over 53 or 58 volt setups
