2005 6.0 white smoke shudder

Hi there,

I bought my 6.0 about a week ago and have done around 600 miles in the thing since I got it all been fine not used any coolant nor oil all gauges were reading right and looking good I had it serviced oil and filter using geniune fluids and filters.

I then started the truck today fine as normal and left to do a 100 mile trip I got around 5 miles down the road and the truck started to hesitate around 50 mph I then pulled over to the side of the road, the truck idles great and sounds totally fine at idle no smoke or anything at idle as soon as you rev it it starts to shudder at like 1600rpm and you won't want to go any further than that and it starts to put white smoke out of the exhaust the temprature is good on the gauge and so is oil presure, oil looks fine.

My friend seems to think it's the EGR cooler blocked/cracked. I am going to get a shop to have a look tomorrow but was just wondering if anybody could shed any light on the situation?

The check engine light came on but I have not got anything currently to read the codes.
