oil leak with 7k miles?

So i have been noticing oil spots on my driveway where i park my truck... I hate to think i will end up having to take my truck to the dealership to get it fixed. Has anyone had this problem before? I will do some investigating when i get home today. I hope it is an easy fix, are oil leaks common with this motor? I have an 07 6.0 350.

I have a 2007 F250 4x4 with 13,500 miles and have the same issue.... Bought mine used at 11k miles.

Not sure what it is. Guessing a rear main seal maybe?

I have oil leaks coming from somewhere around both cylinder heads. They're not bad enough to drip yet, but you can clearly see where it's shiny in that area from the oil. I guess I need to take mine in and get it taken care of. I just need to find a dealer that won't give my problems about my exhaust and Quadzilla.

so i found the culprets last night... yes I have more than one leak. I changed the oil for my roommate and since I had teh creep er out i wanted to check it out. The first and most noticable was my front differential. I thought it was coming out from the bottom, buw as i moved back towards the t-case, the oil was coming out from the input shaft. That was the biggest one, already had a few drops and a few more to come.
The other leak was pooling under my trans, right under the torque converter. I tried to chase it upwards, however it looks like I have a rear main seal going out.... and she was 3 quarts low on oil, I didnt think i had lost that much

everything is covered under warranty, but i am going boarding this weekend and may need to use 4wd. will low amounts of gear oil damage anything too bad to where i will not be able to drive it? the last thing i want is to be stuck away from home right before christmas.

Thank you all for your input!!!

Top it off before you go and keep and eye on it. I would bring some gear oil with you and check it before you leave to come home again
