03 6.0 studders and dies

So my buddy's 03 grocery getter F350 with 110k on it has been dieing on him. It starts right up in the mornings, then he drives it for a little while then it just starts studdering and shaking then dies. It won't start back up right away. It has to set for a 5-10 minutes then it will start up. Sometimes when it does it runs bad sometimes it will run fine. Next day same thing. I have checked the voltage on the FICM and it is a consistant 47.5 and when he starts it 47.9. NO engine light so we can't get auto care place to pull codes. so give me some thoughts... ICP? how to test or check it?

Almost sounds like a high pressure oil leak. What is the ICP psi while cranking? The truck must see at least 500psi to start.

being an 03, i would disconnect the icp sensor and see if the stalling persists. any oil dripping down from up above the transmission bell housing? hpo leaks on 03's aren't as common as later models. injector o ring would be the most common place to find a leak.
really should have the truck at least scanned for codes with a device capable of reading manufacturer specific codes before anything though

Sounds like a faulty icp sensor or pigtail
