rough start up

does it worse the cooler it gets.just cranked it up 74 degrees outside and when you go to take off it bellows out white smoke runs rough for a mile or two and clears up.it has a turbo valve code .i read where they had problems with the heating up of the injector spools and they flashed the computer to clear this problem up.any suggestions?thanks

this sounds like an egr valve problem to me

white smoke is never good. especially when it's 74 outside and it's still doing it, imo that throws "cold start up issues" out the window. more info would be helpful.
