The battery voltage drop cranking is normal and you already know the FICM voltage drop isn't. The batteries tested "good" even though one was a little low on CCA (idk how low it would need to be for them to replace it under warranty) so fix the FICM. Is your battery voltage coming up to 14.4ish after 30 seconds or so running? If not you could have an alternator issue.

we can't just replace batteries at will anymore. we have to hook them up to a charger/diagnostic tester and let it run it's course. It is going to try and recover the batt first and after that if it determines it's still not charging properly THEN it spits out a code and lets us warranty the battery.

you need a ficm by the way
