233k miles

Hey y'all. I have a 05f250 6.0 with 233k miles. It runs great. I was just wondering if get it all down to do the head studs should I rebuild at the same time? How many miles do most of the 6.0's get.

Unless you have a problem, you really need to think of why you want to rip into it! If it is running well, 500k is not unreasonable. However, any issue could come up that might make you think about doing more than fixing what broke. If you are pulling the heads to do the studs, spec the heads and valves and go from their. You never know what you might find.

I'm wanting to do some upgrades. Bigger injectors, sct, maybe a turbo. I just want to do it the right way. I don't wanna spend the money on all these up grades and have to take it back down and do studs and all. Would rather just do it right the first time. Does that sound about right? This is my first F250.

If money is not any issue, I would rebuild it since its torn apart. But as mentioned, 200k thousand and change is nothing for a 6.0 so its 6 in one hand half dozen in the other.
