Engine locked up
So we swapped a manual in to my buddys 06 and now it wont turn over. The starter is working but not turning the motor over, i tried to turn it over by hand and its not movin. We pulled one of the glow plugs to see if it was hydro-locked from cycling the key so many times but thats not it. The truck rolls fine in nuetral and when the clutch is depressed. Any ideas? Anything helps and is appreciated guys thank you

you need to pull ALL of the glowplugs if you think it is hydrolocked.

was the transmission swap the only work done prior to the problem?

Well it looks like we got much bigger problems than being hydro-locked. This is the wear ring from the old rear main seal.

oh my. you removed the rear hub flange bolts. that is a big no-no

Well thats not good while removeing the hub is a no no it's kinda academic now. He is gonna need a new cam and crank cause if I remember right that gear is made onto the shaft and is not pressed on. I mean on the crank, I don't remember but the cam gear may be replaceable.
