fuel pump went now my fuel bowl is going dry

fuel pump went out so i changed it and it will run for about 5-7 min and then it shakes and runs out of fuel... my upper filter is dry like it is getting an air pocket ...it has happend over 10 times the same thing .... new oe ford filters twice ..... wondering if line from tank is crackes anyone else have this issue ......

Sounds like no fuel - no kidding! Maybe your old pump wasn't bad? Intermittent wiring issue would be more likely. Fuel delivery line crack or restriction is possible. Pick-up problem. What is your fuel pressure?

there is plenty of fuel i can cycle the key and fill the upper fuel bowl replace the cap and it will run but then it runs out of fuel like the pump cant keep up or its getting air in the suction line .... somewhere

Yea, the pickup feet can crack/come off/get clogged up.

The pickup tubes crack from time to time also.
