Glow plug cicruit fault

Recently picked up an 06 6.0 CCSB 4x4 with 72,000 on it.

Shortly after buying the truck I got a trouble code P0675. I didn't think much of it, cleared it and crossed my fingers. A week or two went by and now I am getting more of the same codes, two or three of the pop up at a time, P0672, P0674, P0675, P0678.

At this point I would like your guys opinion on how to proceed. It is still under the warranty but I have two bits of hesitation. I bought it from a Lexus dealer, where do they take it for warranty work or do they do it themselves? The warranty is 50/50 parts and labor. Would it be worth having them fix it or should I do it myself?

Thanks in advance-

While the glow module does fail it's not often. Useually a harness chafed or damage inside the connector [bent or backing out pins].

Personally I would make them fix it. You paid for that warrenty whether you knew it or not and they need to make it good.

Just my opiniontho.

I had this problem (similar circuit codes) and if I recall correctly it was my harness'. I think they were about $100. I was able to change them myself but it was a pita. Limited working space. The glow plugs themselves don't go bad so to say. Its usually always the wiring harness. I did my glow plugs anyways.

Thanks for the replies. I called the dealer (they are a little over an hour away) and they said it would cost about $400 to change one glow plug. For that price I decided I would just replace all of the glow plugs and the harness myself and still have a a few bucks left over.
