Head gasket ?

I have installed these gages - engine temp, EGT, Trans, Boost. What are the early signs of a blow head gasket? What to look out for? Should I or should I not put a STC chip on my F250 04-6.0

I'm not a mechanic, but from my reading and experiences it could be the egr cooler-oil cooler or the head gaskets. Hopefully somebody that knows more will answer you soon. There are a lot of threads on both issues. Good luck.

That means air from the engine is blowing back into the coolant. Head is blowing or has blown. Also keep an eye-out for white smoke. That is caused by coolant leaking into the cylenders. There again head troubles. You may want to double check my info. I am not a tech but I try to learn as much as possible about my truck.

I was told that you should get ARP studs. Mine is in the shop right now getting them installed. I had to go to another dealer to . After my experiences, I wouldn't run any programs without them.
