Yeah it should be under warranty. I've got an exhaust, leveling kit, aftermarket tires/wheels, and rear air bags on my truck. I don't see how any of that could even be remotely related to what's happening. I just got off the phone with the service rep. and he said they are booked up until early next week. "Go ahead and drive it and keep checking the oil level when cold", he said. I think they are dodging the rental fee but, whatever.
I have another vehicle to drive and will do that to reduce the risk of high wear from so much fuel in the oil.
So other than injectors, what else can cause the oil level to raise? I assume it's fuel that's causing it to be high since it shows no sign of water but there's no way to be sure without an oil analysis or diagnosis. S/R said he suspects the HPOP since I have a leak. But I don't know enough about this motor to know if the fuel could enter the oil system if it went bad. I'm guessing it could since it's function is to boost the fuel pressure.
I learn a little more about it every time I have a problem.
