I have a 05 6.0 PSD I purchased new in 05. It curently has 130k miles with mostly problem free driving. I have changed the oil regularly (every 3-4k miles). I do very little hauling with my truck, mostly highway miles. Right now I have a problem with a "dead spot" while accelerating when it is at operating tempature. I read the post pertaing to the EGR valve cleaning and plan on performing that function this week. Any other ideas on what might be the cause? A friend of mine suggested that I have the valves and injectors adjusted. Is this someting that can be done on a PSD and if so is it a waste of time/money? Any other suggestions to help maintain my truck would be appericated!!
Thanks |

No way to adjust valves or injectors. If cleaning your EGR doesn't help it might be the veins in your turbo sticking.
