NEW MOTOR IN A 2004

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS IN THE PAST, WHAT A GREAT BUNCH OF GUYS!

I WAS CURIOUS AS TO WHAT EXACTLY YOU ARE GETTING WHEN THEY DECIDE TO PUT A NEW MOTOR IN YOUR TRUCK. IS THIS A NEW MOTOR, OR IS IT A MOTOR THAT CAME OUT OF A NOTHER TRUCK THAT HAD PROBLEMS SO THEY PULLED IT AND SENT IT BACK REBUILT IT THEN SEND IT BACK OUT?
I UNDERSTAND THAT SENSE MINE IS A 2004 WITH THE 6.0L THAT I WOULD BE GETTING ANOTHER 6.0L. I THOUGHT THEY QUIT MAKING THAT MOTOR ALTOGETHER. SO WHERE IS IT COMING FROM?
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR RESPONSES.

Just because they can't put them in at the factory anymore doesn't mean they quit making them. If you are getting a new motor, for whatever reason, then simply ask your dealership if you're getting new or remaned. Personally I'd rather have a quality reman than brand new IF it's done correctly, but that's just my preference. I'm fairly certain they both come with the same warranty no matter what.
