cracked Heads

Both of the cylinder heads for my 6.0 are cracked , and after some exhaustive Google searching I found my options are a new set from tousleyfordparts.xxx @2k + S/H, a set from odessa cylinder heads @1500 for new castings and S/H. But both of them have the inductive hardened valve seats and mostlikely will have the same problem that i have now..... CRACKED HEADS........ The other option I found is UCF Machine Shop - Ford Diesel 32-valve head teardown and analysis. they install all new valves and any needed parts, replace all the intake and exhaust valve seats with a hardened seat, replace all the valve guides with iron spiral reamed valve guides S. B. International ... Tech Topics. Price $2450 if my cores are bad. The only catch is that they o-ring all the heads that they do ??????? I have mixed feelings about the o-ring of the heads but I like the everything else they do.

Go with Odessa you won't be disappointed. Myself along with many others on here have their heads on our trucks and run them without any problems. For the price you can't beat it and they include free shipping both to you and for return shipping on the cores.

cracked Heads

Do they only have remanufactured heads? I was trying to see on their web page where their "updated" heads are.

I put a new set of OE on and cracked in 9200 miles. Looking for options and keep running across the Odessa heads. How are they holding up? I put 40k miles on a year and need to make sure no issues before dropping ANOTHER $1500 on this truck!

EGR Cooler Delete, A1 Studs, 3.5" Down Pipe, 4" Straight Pipe, Turbo Rebuilt, New OE Heads, New HPOP, New Injectors
