Cylinder #8 leaking?

Bare with me, I'm a noob when it comes to the mechanics and how everything works.

The boyfriend tells me my cylinder 8 is leaking. Strikes me as odd...the truck runs great. Shouldn't the truck have symptoms because of this? How can I correct this problem right away? He tells me my only option is head gaskets. Help?

Head gaskets don't leak externally on the 6.0's generally. I would suspect the small hose that connects your EGR cooler to the oil cooler, especially if the hose is orange.

Have him get some pics and post them. Doubt it's a head gasket.

Well I'm taking it to my mechanic this weekend. I will post pictures! We are going to find just exact is wrong with my truck if anything at all
I am eager to learn more about how things work and how to diagnose issues so I don't have to go through all this hassle. Its a 3 hour drive to my mechanic.
