power question

I have an 04 6.0 cc with 65000miles on it.I bought this truck used and I was wondering how can you tell when your injectors are bad or if maybe only one or two are bad? I started to use injector cleaner to see if that would work I am also going to try to take the egr valve off and clean it.My firend bought an 05 6.0 cc and when i drove his it seamed that it was more responsive. any advice is highly appriciated

fwiw, when I drove my buddies 05' when it was brand new w/afe stage 2, straight exhaust and edge platinum, it felt like it had A LOT faster spool up than mine. After lots of forum reading found out that was normal, I wasn't concerned anyways. may be a normal. my truck smokes his now with my innovative tunes.
