so the other day my "check engine" light came on... so when i got home from work and called the dealer and scheduled an appoitment to get 'er looked at. well long story short the dealer called back and basically said i have to wait 2 weeks to get 'er in. so i took the beast to checkers and used there code reader to see what i could see. i have a 2003 f250 6L crew cab and i got this code
P2285 "Injector Control Pressure Circut LOW. now i havnt noticed any power loss at all. i was thinkin maybe a pressure sensor got "gummed up" and wasnt reading the correct voltage, causing the light. so i poured about 6 onces of luckas fuel treatment and conditioner in the tank...and all was fine for about 2 days. now the light is back on with the same code. should i give the fuel treatment some more time to work or should i start the troubleshooting proceess, or should i be concerned at all. i really dont like that light staring at me all the time it drives me effin nuts. if anyone has any suggestions im all ears.

ICP is injection controll pressure. that pressure is what controlls your injectors. the sensor for that pressure is what the computer uses to detremine what the injectors are getting versus what they need. It is on the back of the motor up top.. in a $#%^# of a place to get to...its actually easier to get to IMO from the bottom.... that sensor is the ICP sensor (injection controll pressure sensor)

as far as the warranty... Yes...it should be.....

as far as the airbox..its easier to take the one coolant line off.....then take the WHOLE airbox asembly out...change the filter....put it all on outside the truck..then put it all back in as a unit...

I also have the same problem. Do you folks you have a digital photo of what the ICP looks like and it's location. I'm seeing a couple of sensors near the turbo and between the oil spout. I think one of them is the ICP, i.e. the one with multiple leads going to it, next the one with a single lead on the driver side. Am I getting warm?
