WHITE SMOKE!! NEED ADVICE....

I HAVE A 2007 E 450 6.0, it is blowing white smoke during idle, but not during highway speeds. I do have anti freeze coming out the tail pipe and it is building pressure in the degas tank during under a load. Engine runs smooth with no misfires. Im thinking headgaskets, but after checking this forum i see it might be an egr problem. I would like to know what are the best steps for me to inspect this issue. thx

If you have coolant leaking out of the exhaust you most definitely have a blown EGR cooler. However that said if your still running it like that you very well could have pushed a head gasket as well so if you replace the EGR cooler with one of BPD's or an EGR delete kit don't be surprised if your head gaskets are blown when you get it done. Also your oil cooler is plugged up as well if your EGR cooler failed on you so your gonna need one of those as well. Do you have a monitor in the truck? That would have been your first clue to what was going on and possibly stopping this before it happened. Sorry about the bad news, hope you get it figured out.
