Another 6.0L No Start...Help me pair it down?

I just walked out to the truck ('06, ~55k miles, fuel filters about 5k on'em, stock tune in it now) and it won't start, just cranks. The last week or two with the SRL II tune in it it was starting to surge. Put the tow tune in it and it about went away, no issue with the stock tune. Thought it was just the weather, but hell, obviously it wasn't.

So, just did the FICM test the voltages checked out.
Unplugged the IPR, and it still wouldn't start...but it did throw a P2285 code when it was unplugged.
HFCM seems to be working.

What's the next step? Pull the trigger on the FICM and hope it fixes it since it seems like there are times the voltages check out but its still bad?

Thanks for your help! What a nice Christmas present!

Can you monitor your ICP pressure and IPR % ?
What voltage are you seeing from FICM?

I can't, my Insight is 'dead'. FICM was around 48v cranking and with just the key on.

Getting a monitor on it is your next step, my guess is you have either a fuel pressure or icp issue. But I am just takin a stab at it.
ScangaugeII is a on the shelf item at Auto Zone for $160.00 and will read everything your PCM sees. Wont see fuel pressure but if hpop system and FICM during crank checks out you can check if needed.
Is it cranking over strong? low voltages during crank will keep ficm from turning on injectors.

Yup, cranks over strong. I knew not getting my Insight fixed/updated would bite me in the ***, just didn't think it would that way.

Try and get some gauges on it and look at ICP and IPR may have something going on there, being the surging was changing characteristics from the tune you would run it may be a IPR issue?? But again thats only a guess.
Different tunes manipulate injector pressures depending on programing, you need to get monitoring to see what it's doing.

Did you unplug the IPR or the ICP ????? Big difference there, ICP is on the valve cover.

Just reread and saw that,
