another ficm question

i have read a ton on these things and still not sure about one thing. I have an 07 6.0 with low voltage on the ficm. Batteries are good. I came across a ficm from a friend that just got it back from being rebuilt but his truck is an 05. My question is can i put it right in my truck or should i just switch out the power supply side?

You should send yours to ficmrepair.com, and be done with it.

Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get.

I have a 7 pin ficm that has been repaired by Ed @ ficmrepair.com and loaded with the atlas 80 that i will sell you. It is a brand new 7 pin and Ed upgraded it with his 3 year warranty mods and put the Atlas 80 on it. It was bought in May of 2012. It will work with any 6.0 because it has been programmed. PM me if interested. $300 shipped.

There seems to be another problem. I swapped out the ficm and it read 0 volts so I switched back to my old one and now I have 0 volts on that one also. I would have to imagine there is something wrong with the wiring harness but how can I check that.

Yea I'm selling everything on my truck for approximately 1/2 of what i paid for the parts. I figure that the stuff is used and I'm not trying to screw anyone over.

FICM Replacement

I got mine from Northern Auto Parts in Iowa. Like $350. They have rebuilts on the shelves. Order online or by phone which is quicker. They give you your core deposit back when they receive it through the mail.

The job took me a little over an hour. Sent the core back in the same box.
