Shut it off and won't start back...

The other day I shut my truck off with my friends would not start right back...kick a p0487 code(which I heard is a phantom code in an 06) I cleared it let it sit and she cranked.....she has just done it again except this time I was at a McDonald's drive through and she isn't wanting to start back..... help please

She is not running hot
All temps are fine

I'm no pro but it could be stuck egr valve or bad egr valve. Do you have a monitor? What is your icp pressure? That would tell you have enough pressure. It could be high pressure oil leak. If it were me I'd pull the egr valve and clean it.

Mine did that about a year ago - I thought originally that it was the stand/dummy stuff, but wound up being a loose ICP connector - This video helped me get it figured out.
